The floor fitter has now finished. It took him two and a half days to lay the parquet floor, but he’s done an excellent job. We gave him a bottle of wine, we were so pleased. A real craftsman.
Yesterday a pair of his colleagues visited to admire it as it isn’t a flooring the do that often. He said he was very pleased with how it looked. A local company too, so always good.
Getting the parquet flooring done in the hall now. The border seems to be taking ages to do, but I suppose it’s the trickiest part, with all that cutting.
If you eat the bran you can get from Amazon on that French doctor’s diet, just make sure you’re never too far from a toilet. That’s all I’ll say about that. I’m having to hold my farts in today because the floor fitter will be the first to register them if they creep out of my office…
